Did you know that the FIFA World Cup is the largest single sport competition?

The FIFA World Cup is an international football tournament that happens every four years. The competition was founded by FIFA, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, in 1930.

The competition is complicated. Thirty-two teams, from all around the world, compete for almost a month. In the end, one team wins. In the most recent competition was won by Germany in 2014. Germany has had much success in the World Cup competition, with a total of four wins. However, Brazil leads the way in wins, with five total World Cup championships.

The World Cup is the most viewed and followed sporting event in the world. In 2006, 26.29 billion people cumulatively watched the FIFA World Cup competition, and 715.1 million watched the final game. The FIFA World Cup is important because it brings people from all over the world together in a positive way. Moreover, the sportsmanship in FIFA helps young people treat each other with respect.

Overall, the World Cup is an old competition that continues to bring countries together, which makes it an important event worldwide. The next World Cup competition is scheduled for 2018, where the tradition of this international sport will unite and captivate viewers all over the world.
