What is a sponsor?

Sponsors are business and organizations who support the academic achievement missions of the Free Press by assisting with special project costs or specific new initiatives. These special projects or coverage sections create excellent research and learning opportunities for our students. In turn, their written work makes for fascinating new content that inspires our young audience. It’s also very useful for the teachers who use the Free Press in their classrooms. Sponsors are recognized in every issue of our newspaper and in our online editions. These are examples of coverage sections and special projects you can sponsor:
